This place is an unassuming gem. It was kind of out of the way of things, but it is worth a sit down experience. The restaurant itself is very nostalgic, there is a lot of seating and was pretty quiet on a Saturday afternoon. The employees were friendly and helpful, and the food was really great. I mean this in the best way possible, it was no frills cuisine. So often, restaurants try to re-invent the wheel and it isn't always necessary. The portions were plentiful, the prices were great, it was all fresh and hot and delicious. I am personally a fan of the choice of vegetable egg rolls not spring rolls and I was delighted that they had both. They were amazing!! I do not eat meat, but based upon everything else and the flavor profile I am certain a meat dish would be great too. I definitely would visit again!

I had a phenomenal meal at the Dragon light restaurant. So much it should be renamed Dragon delight. Im a vegetarian so I ordered the vegetables in a spicy garlic sauce and an order of fried rice. Absolutely full of flavor and most delicious. I added water chestnuts to veggies and it made it even more wonderful. The rice was full of flavor a touch of smoky flavor so good.

Hes always good to me Been going there since 2013 when I bought my house in lockport. He Makes a good mai tai and another cocktail the dragon or something its called . Worth trying if your waiting at the bar for your carry out.beef lo mein mandarin style is my go to.my wife gets the chicken kow The sechaun beef extra spicy is also a good choice. I think mondays their food is better.they must have a different chef that day.

I've been going here since I was a kid with my grandparents. Hands down my FAVORITE restaurant. It's probably just my own experience but the atmosphere is very nostalgic and I've never found Chinese food that even comes close to being as good as their chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. It's so good 🤤 Service can be kinda rude sometimes but still so worth it. I prefer their indoor seating rather than take out. It's just a better experience and they serve you this amazing black tea in these cute cups. Unfortunately I only have pictures of takeout. Sorry. Highly recommend. Go try the chicken fried rice and the sweet and sour chicken! 😁🥰
